The BIOS or boot menu must be accessed by pressing a designated key (usually F2, F12, ESC, or DEL), and the boot order should be set to boot from the USB drive. The Ubuntu installer will load, and participants will learn to follow the installation prompts, including selecting the language, time zone, keyboard layout, and partitioning options. It’s possible to choose between installing Ubuntu alongside another operating system or erasing the disk for a clean installation. After the installation process, participants will create a user account and password, which are necessary for using and maintaining the system securely.
