Overheating is a major cause of computer malfunctions and performance issues. Dust buildup in fans and cooling systems can significantly impair a computer’s ability to dissipate heat. Participants will learn to safely open the computer case and clean the CPU fan, case fans, and power supply fan using compressed air or an anti-static brush. Proper cleaning can help maintain airflow and ensure that all components remain cool. In addition, participants will learn how to monitor and manage fan speeds using tools like BIOS/UEFI settings or software like SpeedFan to ensure the system stays within safe temperature ranges.
